Our Story

Breathing new life into engineering

Nulife was started in 1985 by our owner and managing director, Paul Haslem. Paul initially set up the company to provide a refurbishing service for industrial seals and valves. Over time, our customer list grew to include highly respected global names in the aerospace, agri-chemical, food manufacturing and power generation sectors, and our range of skills and services grew too.

Today, some thirty years later, we provide a highly specialised service for customers with very particular needs. Working with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium (or whatever material we know will best meet the needs of the job in hand) we design and manufacture everything from intricate one-off specialist parts, to large scale, stand alone assemblies.

The most recent addition to our workshop area number of heavy duty CNC machines. These have massively expanded the diversity and complexity of our fabrications, and also allow us to work not only with metal, but also with wood and plastic materials.
What gives us real stand-out in our marketplace is the extent to which we bring creative thought and real ingenuity to bear when solving a customer’s problems. For example, when a fertiliser company was faced with the challenge of packaging its product across a range of different locations, our solution was to design and build a bespoke mobile packing station that can be moved quickly and easily from site to site. We have even worked with a renowned installation artist, helping to translate their creative concepts into awe-inspiring pieces of public art.
We take the issue of quality very seriously. In our line of work, lives depend on it. So all of our fabrications bear CE approval. In addition, and for your further peace of mind, we also carry full product liability insurance.
